Siuslaw has 5 deer fencing demonstrations constructed using a variety of fencing types, with plans to add a 6th These fences are in multiple locations throughout the forest and show varied levels of regeneration. They can be seen throughout the Introductory Trail, Forestry Trail, and Skid Loop, which you can locate on the trail map here. Most of the deer fences are at point E. While some fences are visible from the trails, others are off-trail and can be accessed by appointment only. Contact staff at the Agroforestry Resource Center for more information.
