Most easements are held by local non-profit groups called land trusts. The first step in getting an easement is to meet with your local land trust to see if you and they will be good fits for each other.
Use this online map from the Land Trust Alliance to find a land trust near you. Simply click on the state and then the county where your land is to find links to websites and contact information for the land trusts that work there.
