Craig Repasz is the Chair and Co-founder of Lights Out Connecticut, a statewide organization advocating for the reduction of light pollution and the associated bird collisions. He is also President of the Friends of Stewart B McKinney NWR, an organization devoted to supp orting this important refuge. Craig is past president of the New Haven Bird Club, currently serving as their Conservation Chair. He is past conservation chair of the Connecticut Ornithological Association. He has been the volunteer coordinator for the Connecticut Bird Atlas for six years. He enjoys backpacking and conducts Mountain Birdwatch surveys for the Vermont Center of Ecostudies, focusing on the Bicknell’s Thrush and other high elevation species.

This event is hosted by Teatown Lake Reservation. Teatown is a nonprofit nature preserve and environmental education center in the Lower Hudson Valley, with 15 miles of hiking trails, a two-acre island refuge for over 230 species of native wildflowers, year-round programming, wildlife exhibits, and natural science day camps during the summer and school breaks.
