Maple Sugaring: How to Tap a Tree in Your Backyard
Learn about how to identify and tap maple trees in your backyard or another place you have access to such as your school. We will start indoors and then explore outside. Please wear layers and prepare to be outside in winter weather for a significant portion of the program. 2 – 4pm
This event is hosted by the Ashokan Center. The Ashokan Center is a non-profit retreat and education center in the Catskill Mountains that focuses on teaching, inspiring and building community through shared experiences in nature, history, music and art.
