In this program you will be introduced to wildlife, landscape, macrophotography, and more, with emphasis on photographing the outdoors in the beautiful season of autumn.

About the Instructor: Patrick is an experienced nature photographer and has had work published in the National Wildlife Federation magazine, National Audubon Society magazine, and Wild Bird magazine. He is a lifelong birder and regularly travels to photograph them and other wildlife all over the world. He attended the University of Delaware where he double-majored in Wildlife Ecology & Conservation and Insect Ecology & Conservation, and was a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Student Excellence.

This event is hosted by the Westmoreland Sanctuary. Westmoreland Sanctuary is a not-for-profit, independent nature center and wildlife preserve located in Westchester County, New York. The land spans three towns: Bedford, Mount Kisco, and Armonk. The preserve is 640 acres with 8.5 miles of hiking trails. Access to these trails, along with our Natural Science Museum, is free and open 365 days a year.
