Open to 4-H Members; Ages 8-11 with a Parent/Guardian; Ages 12+ independently

4-H Outdoor Hiking Adventures: Participants will discuss the principals of Leave No Trace, examine outdoor tools such as a map, compass and GPS and learn how plan and prepare for a hike, including preparing healthy snacks. 4-H Volunteers will also share historical and conservation information with participants along the way.

This event is hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County. CCE of Putnam County is part of the Cooperative Extension land grant system, an educational partnership between county, state, and federal governments that is administered in New York State through Cornell University.
