Hi Banks,
Thanks for using the MyWoodlot.com Forum and sorry for my slow reply. I don't know about eliminating ticks entirely, but there are ways to reduce the likelihood of having ticks on you. I browsed through some of our tick-related content and found some things that may be of interest. This page from the University of Rhode Island Tick Prevention Resource Center discusses ways that you can protect your yard, including your garden, from ticks:
https://tickencounter.org/prevention/protect_your_yard. You can find this resource associated with the Learn Tick Prevention Best Management Practices activity on MyWoodlot.com:

We also have 3 additional tick-related activities on MyWoodlot.com:

-- Make My Clothes Tick Repellent:

The MyWoodlot.com team is getting ready to do some Trees 4 Tribs tree maintenance later this week. As such, we'll be preparing for the ticks by wearing long socks (so we can tuck our pant legs in) and treating our clothes (not our skin) with permethrin. Best of luck to you in the garden. I hope it is sunny where you are.
Cheers,
Kris
