Can anyone tell me if this large pile of scat (that I stepped in!) is coyote or black bear? [attachment]P1060535.JPG[/attachment]
It's too big to be a coyote. And I think it's awful early for a black bear to be awake from hibernation. Maybe the warm weather woke it up?
