This is really cool! You can actually see the charred wood and the outline of flames from an old wild fire on this dead pine tree. Must have happened decades ago since this is the only sign of fire in the area.
Nice find! You might be able to estimate when the fire occurred based on the other trees nearby. I noticed some smaller pines in the background of your photo. It's possible they sprouted as a result of the fire opening up the ground and letting in more sunlight. If one of them falls or gets cut in a timber harvest, counting the rings might tell you how long ago the fire was.
